Ed Tech for Students

Because the GTU offers many of its doctoral students classroom experience, this blog may be of use to students as well. I think potentially many students have more experience with technology and it would be a shame to hide their talents. So let us open this blog to both faculty and students about educational technology issues at the GTU. Hopefully this will help us learn more about emerging technologies and how they can make their way into the classroom.

Ed Tech at the GTU?

How does the GTU do educational technology? We have Moodle for our online learning system, but how many can create PowerPoints for their classes? How many people use podcasts or videocasts in their teaching? What about just scanning?

Education today presents us with so many options on how to weave technology into the classroom and into online learning. I want to explore various technology issues in higher education through this forum and use introduce you to a variety of ways to weave technology into your classes.
